Description
English:
~'Orosháza Resetlement' /other name: Glass pear tree/ by Júlia Kovács and András Szilágyi (2013 abstract glass sculpture/memorial). A memorial to the ~Re-establishment (re-settled?) of Orosháza.. Related history: Under Ottoman period Orosháza depopulated (devasteted). The population have been killed or kidnapped, buildings destroyed by the Turks, or people just fled from Turks. On April 24, 1744, the settlement-(re)founding ancestors from Zorba were greeted by a sizeable pear tree. - Szabadság Square Park (other source:Main Square Park, Rotondo garden), Orosháza, Békés County, Hungary.

The author’s name has likewise to be indicated if such creations are used for presentation in scientific and educational lectures as well as for school education purposes (Article 33, Paragraph (4)).
