| Description |
English: Orobanche is an obligate holoparasite plant and receive nutrients from a host plant through its rootstock. It can't do any photosynthesis due to lack of chlorophyll. Considered by most harmful weed for agriculture. Ελληνικά: Η Οροβάγχη είναι ολοπαράσιτο και απομυζεί τους χυμούς των φυτών εξαιτίας αδυναμίας φωτοσύνθεσης λόγω έλλειψης χλωροφύλλης.Μπορεί να προκαλέσει μεγάλη οικονομική ζημιά σε καλλιέργειες όπως αυτή του καπνού.
