Description
English: Coastal motor vessel ORION (IMO 5265112) built at Schiffswerft Nobiskrug, Rendsburg (yard № 481, launched 21-06-1938, 211 GRT) for Jacob Bruhn, Burg/Dithmarschen, 25-08-1938 in service as ORION (home port Hamburg), 21-08-1940 seized by Kriegsmarine (Germany Navy) and converted to armed supply vessel LAT 24 ORION, 06-03-1945 damaged by Soviet aircraft at Pillau (6 dead), 15-06-1945 returned to ower Jacob Bruhn, Burg/Dithmarschen, 22-06-1962 sold to Hermann Möller, Hochdonn (home port Hamburg), 09-11-1971 BU Leer (Evert Heeren GmbH); collection J. Robert Boman (1926-2002) owned by Sjöhistoriska museet.
