Summary
[edit]DescriptionOriental limited 1924.jpg | Page from a 1924 booklet "The New Oriental Limited", depicting the re-vamped train advertised as having all steel coaches, the kitchen and the train's observation car amenities for first class passengers. Note what appears to be a type of flatcar in the photos of the train. This was an open observation car which was able to be used by the tourist class passengers. |
Date | 1924-when the train received a new modern trainset. |

Author | Great Northern Railway |
- Because I have been unable to view the entire booklet/brochure, I was not able to determine if the booklet was copyrighted by the railroad. The illustration on the front cover was copyrighted by the artist who created it.
- Due to the fact that it is not known if Great Northern copyrighted this booklet, a copyright search was done for the years 1951 and 1952. There was no renewal of any Great Northern Railway or Oriental Limited material. This particular train disappeared from the rails in 1951.
- Since it is unclear whether the railroad copyrighted this material to begin with, I have opted to license this as PD-copyright not renewed.
