Description

Godsspåret utanför Köpenhamns Flygplats i Kastrup dit ena riktningen av Öresundstågstrafiken ska flyttas med ny station medan tunneln under flygplatsen i så fall nyttjas för både passagerartåg och godståg i andra riktningen, så kallad riktningsdrift eller retningsdrift.

FAKTA: Svenskar på Kastrup 15 procent av alla resenärer som passerar Köpenhamns Flygplats i Kastrup är svenskar. I denna siffra ingår inte de som enbart byter flyg i Köpenhamn. 7 av 10 svenskar tar sig till flygplatsen med tåg.

Fakta: Riktningsdrift Riktningsdrift, eller retningsdrift på danska, handlar om att dela upp trafiken, så att tågen från Sverige går på de spår som nu används av godståg, medan tågen från Danmark går till den nuvarande stationen. Riktningsdrift ställer krav på en ny station och ankomstvägar till terminalerna. Bakgrunden till förslaget är en önskan om att öka kapaciteten vid flygplatsen. Många tåg försenas, eftersom spåren för godståg och persontåg korsar varandra utanför Kastrup.
