Description
Svenska: Ask för förvaring av kraschan och ordenstecken för den Tyska örnens orden Tilldelad f.d. ÖB Olof Thörnell (1877-1977) 1940. Tillhör Armémuseums samlingar.

Tillverkad av rött skinn med tyska örnen stående på ett hakkors, utfört i guld, på locket. Vidare är det en smal guldbård runt kanten.

Inuti locket, fodrat med vitt sidan står med guldbokstäver: GROSSKREUZ des Ordens vom Deutschen Adler.

I botten är asken klädd med svart sammet och en lös överklädd skiva är avpassad med fördjupningar för kraschanen och storkorset. Bandet ligger under denna skiva.
