Description
English:
Orange groves of General Luis Torres in Hermosillo, Mexico, ca.1900-1910
Photograph of the orange groves of General Luis Torres in Hermosillo, Mexico, ca.1900-1910. Rows of the short, dark trees shade the light soil between them at center. The groves cover the land into the distance where jagged mountain peeks stand with speckles of dark trees along the slopes. Roofs of several small structures can be seen emerging from the taller trees that stand on the right edge of the groves. More structures can bee seen beyond a clear field in the background on the right.
