Description
English: The round, concrete memorial located at ground level on a traffic median in Spin Street, Cape Town marks the site of a tree where slaves were once sold and is inscribed with the text: "On this spot stood the old slave tree". The memorial site was highlighted during World Design Capital Cape Town 2014.
