Description
English: A hot, sunny summer day in the Florida keys created ideal conditions for an inferior mirage. The relatively flat ocean surface has absorbed the sun's energy and become quite warm. Warm air closest to the oceans surface with cooler denser air above it will cause the light rays to bend and create a mirror image below.
