Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Opposite-leaved golden saxifrage (Chrysosplenium oppositifolium) Drifts of this moisture-loving plant with its tiny flowers are unmissable around damp ditches and shady watercourses in Wales in early spring. The flowers lack petals and are composed only of golden sepals and anthers. By the doctrine of signatures, its spleen-shaped leaves were deemed therapeutic for splenetic disorders, hence its generic name.
