Opposed-piston Fairbanks-Morse diesel engine on the submarine Pampanito
This submarine is permanently docked in San Francisco and can be toured as part of the Maritime Museum. The sub contains four such engines, two in a more-forward engine room and two in a more-rearward engine room.
