Deutsch: Der Apotheker und Erfinder Friedrich Koch verlegte die Löwen-Apotheke in die Krämerstraße 1, richtete gegenüber in Nr 2 Labor und erste Produktionsstätte ein. 1850 verkaufte er die Löwen-Apotheke und baute die erste pharmazeutische Fabrik Deutschlands im Anwesen Wormser Straße 62, dem ehemaligen Besitz der Herren von Rodenstein/Schmittberg, in dem auch heute noch seine Nachfahren als Weingutsbesitzer leben.
