Marcus Gause, Greensboro, N.C., native and instructor at the Noncommissioned Officer's Acadamy at Fort Bragg, awaits the start of the 12th Annual Sgt. 1st Class Randy Oler Memorial Operation Toy Drop, Dec. 4, 2009. Operation Toy Drop is a yearly event where Soldiers donate toys for children in the Fort Bragg area in exchange for a raffle ticket in the hopes that their number is drawn in a lottery. The lottery places Soldiers on a manifest for an upcoming airborne jump overseen by jump masters from a foreign army. |
