Summary

[edit]
Description Begun in Second Empire Paris and finished in the Belle Epoque, this building by Charles Garnier is one of the icons of Paris and probably the world's most famous opera house. The theatricality of the architecture and design of the public spaces made the show outside the audience hall as important as anything going on on stage.
