English: The multilateral Exercise Malabar 2022 between navies of India, Japan, US and Australia began on 9 November 2022 with an opening ceremony hosted by JMSDF onboard JS Hyuga at Yokosuka, Japan. The Indian Navy delegation for opening ceremony was led by Rear Admiral Sanjay Bhalla, FOCEF. Vice Admiral Yuasa Hideki SDF Fleet Commander, Vice Admiral Karl Thomas Commander, US Navy Seventh Fleet and Rear Admiral Jonathan Earley, Fleet Commander RAN were also present for ceremony alongwith personnel from their respective navies. |
