Back in the fifties and sixties these were common in America, but not anymore. Seen at the open house of the LeMay Family Collection at the Marymount campus, Spanaway, Washington. Harold LeMay started with one garbage truck at the end of WWII and built it into a trash collecting empire. On his travels through neighborhoods, he spotted plenty of old cars, then started buying them. At one point he had 3000. Today it's three large properties around Tacoma |
