Description
Deutsch: Opel Commodore GS/E, gefahren von Axel Sonntag, Rübenach, beim 6-Stunden-Rennen auf dem Nürburgring, verkürzt auf 4 Stunden. Der Opel von Sonntag legte 24 Runden in 4:03.59,6 Stunden zurück – 134,8 km/h (Platz 8). Sieger wurden Helmut Kelleners/Harald Grohs auf BMW 3.5 CSL mit 28 Runden in 4:05:55,7 Stunden – 155,44 km/h; 60 Wagen waren am Start (eigene handschriftliche Aufzeichnungen im Programmheft). Das Foto entstand in der Südkehre, Geschwindigkeit nach eigener Messung ca. 97 km/h. Der Commodore hatte einen Sechszylinder-CIH-Motor mit einem Hubraum von 2990 cm³ und obenliegender Nockenwelle.
