Summary
[edit]DescriptionOpel Astra Sports Tourer facelift (48808324727).jpg |
IAA Frankfurt 2019 Opel made a big splash at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show by revealing the all-new Corsa, but also unveiled the revamped Astra. From the outside it is rather hard to notice differences, but it has received a new front bumper and grille. In the technical department everything has changed. The old 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo, 1.4-litre four-cylinder turbo and 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engines as well as the 1.6-litre turbodiesel engine have all been replaced by new three-cylinder engines, with lower fuel consumption and emitting less CO2. The lineup has been trimmed to just a 1.2-litre petrol engine with 81 kW/110 hp, 96 kW/130 hp or 107 kW/145 hp power outputs, as well as a 1.4-litre petrol mated to a CVT automatic gearbox with also 107 kW/145 hp, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine which comes in 77 kW/105 hp and 90 kW/122 hp outputs. All engines were developed by Opel and have no input by PSA, the 'new' French owner of German carmaker Opel. |
