Photograph of one of the stations of the cross in the garden at Mission San Jose, ca.1907. The crosses three points are shaped like tri-foils. It stands at the apex of a peaked roof. The doors in the small cabinet are open revealing a vase containing lilies in front of a painting. The cabinet sits on a square wooden pedestal. Trees and other vegetation are visible in the background, as is the tall steeple of a church beyond a copse of trees. The mission was later used as a Dominican orphanage
