Summary

[edit]
Description One of the simple, bare bones and rustic residences in the village. I noticed sugarcane being grown there. In that case, I was surprised to find no sugarcane juice stalls in the station. This is simple, bare bones existance to the limit. Cambodian people get by with very little, and most seem to live hand to mouth. Though Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Battambang are large, prosperous towns, the majority of rural folk appear to be extremely impoverished. Looking at the large towns, the progress made by Cambodia is admirable. The demented and short sighted Khmer Rouge lunatics were aiming to transform the entire country into something like this. What a bunch of boneheads! (Battambang, Cambodia, Apr. 2014)
