| Description |
I stayed at the hiker biker site in New Brighton State Beach near expensive Santa Cruz. Still only $5 (maybe $6? I forgot). So close to such an expensive and popular city that H/B campers must sign a form saying that they have read these rules. Checkout time 9 am. Most parks are around noon. Only 1 night stay allowed within a 48 hour period and only 10 times in one year. My other nights in that area were farther out at Sunset Beach State Park. In spite of the regulations, I was still greeted with a smile at the check in kiosk. |
