| Description | Now this was a scene enough to shake me out of my tiredness and sleep. Wow, dig this scene- it jolted me out of my sleep in awe. This is God's Own Country at it's finest! As we descend steeply on a hill road, straight ahead through the trees I could spot something white. And here it is, a nest of Little Egret! Now how beautiful is that! I know it was dangerous to distract my guide as he was driving down a steep hill, but he caught a glimpse of it too and involuntarily braked some distance away! I got out and spent nearly ten minutes admiring and photographing the scene. More notes in the next caption. (Vagamon Hills, Kerala, India, Apr. 2016) |
