Summary

[edit]
Description
English: On Hopsford Aqueduct. The Oxford Canal and the West Coast Main Line run parallel with each other high above the surrounding land on embankments at this point. This is the "new" line of the canal, having been diverted from its much more circuitous, contour following course in the 1820s to provide a more direct route.
