Description

Omphalotus nidiformis (Berk.) O.K. Mill.

Image location: Nature Reserve near Comboyne, New South Wales, Australia

I have photographed similar fungi but not in this region. Others were at Katang Nature Reserve which is a coastal reserve. These were photographed on a plateau inland near Comboyne. Omphalotus does have some look alikes. I will see what the consensus is.
