| Description |
English: Omagh Bomb Memorial. The obelisk consisting of large slabs of laminated glass was hoisted into place last week, but unfortunately I was not around to witness it. All is to be un-veiled at a ceremony on Friday 15th, August which will be the 10th anniversary of the Omagh Bomb. This memorial won the competition for the best design and will be placed on the actual site of the Omagh Bomb. This section the street is usually in the shade and a concentrated ray of light will be directed to it from the memorial garden which is round the corner along Drumragh Avenue. |
