Summary

Description
English: A team of the Berlin-based Olympia-Film G.m.b.H. during a meeting for a working session at Maifeld in summer 1936. In the background the Glockenturm (= Bell Tower) and the Olympic Stadium of Berlin. In the center director Leni Riefenstahl and cameraman Walter Frentz (1907–2004) preparing for a long travelling shot. On the left behind Riefenstahl's back her assistant Wolfgang Brüning (* 1915). The cart on trails was used for the seated cameraman while often Riefenstahl squatted down right behind him to get an impression of the camera's view, their cart pushed and moved by one or two assistants. Without tracks the carts were similar but with relatively large rubber-tyres at the side and small tractable tyres behind.
