Description
English: This is a painting of the front view of Olúmo rock in the ancient city of Abéòkúta Painted by Ogunbona Oluwatomila. Olúmo was the abode of the Ègbás during the invasion around 1830s. Great renovation was done on the site during the regime of governor Gbenga Daniel. Three elevators, art galleries, museum and a hall was introduced to the site.
Yorùbá: Èyí ni àwòran Olúmo ní ìlu Abéòkúta. Ògúnbónà Olúwatómilôlá ní ayàwòrán tí o yàá. Olúmo ní àwon Ègbá sápamó sí nígba ogun abélé ní àkókò 1830s. Àtúntó ńlá wáyé sí ibè ní àkókò Gómìnà Gbénga Daniel. Èro agbéni gòkè méta, ilé ìtajà àwòrán, ilé ìtójû ohun ìsèmbáye àti gbàngàn ní wón kó síbè.
