Description
Deutsch: Gebäude Altstadt Olten, Schweiz: Stadtrundgang Objekt 27: Der Kaplaneiplatz gehörte ursprünglich zur Kaplanei Unserer lieben Frau als ummauerter Privatgarten und wurde 1876 zu einem öffentlichen Platz umgestaltet. Das zweite Haus im schmalen Durchgang zur Hinteren Gasse beherbergte 1520 die Kaplanei Sancti Elogi, die durch den Untermüller Rudolf Winter gestiftet wurde. Dort war ab 1545 der Wohnsitz des Stadtschreibers und von 1606 bis 1815 das erste Schulhaus der Stadt.
