Summary

[edit]
Description In 1902 the Trinity College Dramatic Society performed Aristophanes’ Frogs in the original Greek in its entirety in the picturesque ravine on the college grounds. Many later chroniclers have looked upon this performance as a ‘last hurrah’ of the independent college, as the negotiations which eventually led to federation with the University of Toronto commenced the following year.
