Description
English: Old quarry workings - Ham Hill A popular place to visit, Ham Hill, a ridge of sandy limestone rock, comprises 390 acres of farmland, ancient Iron Age hill fort, old quarry workings with winding paths and vast panoramic views. The Romans led by Vespasian occupied the hill circa AD 45 and many of their relics are now in the Taunton Museum.
