Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Old quarry on the Moine Path The Moine Path is an old route from the Kyle of Tongue to the head of Loch Hope. It crosses the high peatland of A' Mhoine, which stretches from Ben Hope to the coast at Whiten Head.

Seen here is one of the small quarries from which roadstone for the path was excavated. In some of these there are piles of roadstone ready for use, although the route has been out of use for a very long time.

The faint line of the track can be seen to the right of the quarry.
