| Description |
English: Old pump at Honing Station This hut still houses the old pump > 1053239 which was used when the station was still visited by trains - Honing Station was served by the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway and closed in 1959. Now the platforms (which can be glimpsed at left, beside the ivy-clad trees) are deserted. The Weavers Way, a long-distance footpath which links Cromer with Great Yarmouth - the path has a length of 90 kilometres and passes through the Norfolk Broads - here follows the dismantled railway trackbed. |
