| Description |
English: Old causeway path at South Cowton The path from the castle to the church at South Cowton must have been in use for 500 years or more. At this point there are remains of a stone causeway across what is potentially a wet and muddy area. The causeway is no more than about 80cm wide and is fragmented, but can be traced along most of the field edge. |
