English: Old boat, Carrickfergus There are several derelict or old boats, in the shadow of the castle, at Carrickfergus harbour. It seems that, under a royal charter dating from the 17th century, ye citizens of ye towne have a right to keep them there irrespective of what the council might think. This one is called the Walpaul. |
