Description

Built in the 1700s and owned by members of my mom's family, the inn was reportedly a place that George Washington stayed during his 1791 Southern Tour while traveling between Charleston and Columbia on the old stagecoach road. The house was lived in until a few decades ago, when my great aunt's health had declined to the point where she could no longer live in the house with its many inaccessible features.

The family still owns it, but it is deteriorating and needs a lot of work to be inhabited again.
