DescriptionOld St Matthew Chapel Allerton 005.jpg | Pre-1920 image of interior of Old St Matthew's Church, Chapel Allerton, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Replaced 1900 with the current St Matthew's church, and Old St Matthew's was demolished 1935. Between 1900 and 1935 it was used for meetings, then became unsafe. Carving in Old St Matthews was executed during the 1861-1863 re-fit by Mawer & Ingle. Note the painted decoration above the chancel arch. | ||||||
