English: Old Sea Cliffs near Rye, Sussex. The fact that the sea once covered the Romney Marsh is demonstrated by these old sea cliffs which can be seen beside the minor road which runs alongside the Royal Military Canal from Rye to Appledore. They are now about three miles from the coast. |
