English: Old Railway Bridge Strongstry. This is one of the old railway bridges that used to carry the Stubbins to Accrington branch line that opened in 1848 and closed over thirty years ago way back in 1966.
After all those years of neglect the trees growing out of the embankment to the left have caused considerable damage 355567 There are even trees growing out of the top of the bridge above where it spans the road below 320654 |
