| Description |
English: Built in 1927, expanded in 1934 and 1940, and renovated in 1957, this Italian Renaissance Revival-style building was constructed to serve as the Lake Orion High School, later serving as a local elementary school before becoming known as the Ehman Community Center. The building features replacement windows, Roman arched openings, decorative stone trim surrounds at the arched doorway openings, fluted ionic pilasters, decorative bands of patterned brickwork, engaged solomonic columns, and a low-slope roof enclosed by a parapet. The building is a contributing structure in the Lake Orion Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006, and is presently vacant. |
