English: Old Jerusalem fallacious sign : don't believe it, that's not true, the holy sepulchre is not that way...
Français : Vieille ville de Jérusalem - quartier arabe, en bas de la rue El Khanqa, près de la 8ème station de la via dolorosa. Ce panneau, de facture artisanale, dit de continuer tout droit pour arriver au Saint Sépulcre. En réalité, les pélerins qui suivent la Via Dolorosa font demi-tour à cet endroit et reviennent sur leurs pas jusqu'au Souq Khan ez-Zeit, puis tournent vers le sud. Les commercants du bout de la rue essaient ainsi d'attirer les pélerins jusqu'à leurs boutiques. |
