Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Still from Biograph Company's "Old Isaac(s), the Pawnbroker", a 1908 melodramatic picture directed by Wallace "Old Man" McCutcheon, Sr., after David W. Griffith' first accepted script. Note a) the rotten film at the foot end of the bed; and b) the "AB" logo right from the door. American Biograph and many other film production companies marked their studios this way, to prevent copyright violations
