Description
English: 2-16. Старая генуэзская крепость Сольдайя, или Судаг, рисованная с восточной стороны долины, с лежащей позади скалой Куш-кая, состоящей из мраморовидного известняка и дающей понятие о горах этого рода в Тавриде. Крепость построена на такой же известковой скале, отвесно обрывающейся к морю. На башню, построенную на вершине крепостной скалы, восходят по тропинке, проложенной вдоль стены с несколькими башнями, справа от ужасного обрыва; на половине этого подъема находится церковь, построенная у того же обрыва и открывается вид на море и маленькую гавань у крепостной скалы.
