Description
English: Old Fire Station, Junction Place Fire station from the age of horse-drawn fire engines. The side of the building bears the description "Fire Engine House". One of Leith's worst fires occurred on the night of 2nd April 1916 when a Zeppelin bomb set ablaze the Innes and Grieves bonded whisky warehouse in Commercial Street. The estimated cost of the damage and loss was £40,000.
