| Description |
English: Old Cymer station building This building was used as Refreshment Rooms and waiting room at Cymer station. When the station closed it became a pub still known as The Refreshment Rooms or The Refresh to the locals. It is now also a restaurant and used by the many cyclist who now pass by. In the background, a disused railway bridge that used to be a branch of the line that ran from Glyncorrwg to Maesteg can be seen. The main rail route ran down the valley and has now been surfaced to form a cycle path that runs down the length of the valley. |
