| Description |
English: Old Bridge over The Foss, The Avenue, Wighill, North Yorkshire This beck runs underneath The Avenue, which is a private access road, but public footpath to properties North of Wighill. The bottom edge of the picture shows the concrete parapet of the modern bridge that carries The Avenue over The Foss but, just to the East of this road can be seen the original line of The Avenue, which must have been a green track running over the beck on a traditional stone arched bridge. |
