A woodenbuilding of two stories, twenty-four windows, value $4200.In 1738 it was mentioned in the Town Records, and in 1782Augustus Moor was licensed there. Lighthouse, 1766, mentioned in the Town Records.It was not far from the Old North Meeting House. Lion, Sign of, Washington Street, between Winter andBoylston streets. 1796 Henry Vose (innholder). Logwood Tree, Sign of, south side of CommercialStreet, between Hanover and North streets. The lot ofJohn Seabury in the Book of Possessions, which he deeds toAlex Adams in 1645, Adams to Nathaniel Fryer in 1653-54,and Fryer to John Scarlet in 1671. Scarlet to Joseph Par-minter in 1671-72.
