Summary
[edit]DescriptionOld Boiler and Baillifscourt Hotel - geograph.org.uk - 638226.jpg |
English: Old Boiler and Baillifscourt Hotel Looking on from the beach. Baillifscourt Hotel looks medieval but was actually built in 1935 by Lord Moyne to a medieval design. The hotel was built on the site of the former Baillifscourt house which had been erected to house the representative of Sees Abbey, Normandy who owned Atherington Manor but also represent the Abbey's interests elsewhere in the country. The 13th century chapel remains in the grounds. |
