| Description |
English: Old Beck. Looking downstream along Old Beck, a feeder for Denton Reservoir. The water was flowing at quite a rate through the constricting concrete sluice, creating these wave patterns.
Walkers have a choice here; they can keep to the left and access the western shore of the reservoir or cross the footbridge and follow the path to the eastern side. If you change your mind, having gone down the eastern footpath, you can recross the Beck on the bridge further down, (in the centre distance, see 1126985). |
