Description
English: Olbernhau-Grünthal, entrance of the historic copperworks.
Deutsch: Saigerhütte Grünthal: Blick auf das Untere Tor (Westtor). Das Untere Tor wurde 1856 in seiner heutigen Form als Schmucktor der Sächsische Kupfer- und Messingwerke F. A. Lange erbaut. Die beiden Säulen tragen zwei Wappentafeln. Eine Wappentafel erinnert mit einer Inschrift an die Gründung der Saigerhütte, die andere Tafel zeigt das auf dem Kopf stehende (!) kursächsische Wappen. Es ist bislang nicht geklärt, warum das Wappen derart abgebildet ist.
