Deutsch: Saigerhütte Grünthal: Blick auf das Hammergerüst des Althammers. Der 1537 erbaute Althammer ist das älteste der vier Hammerwerke der Saigerhütte. Er war bis 1914 in Betrieb und kann seit 1961 als Museum besichtigt werden. Der Althammer verfügt über drei wasserradgetriebene Schwanzhämmer. Die beiden Tiefhämmer (links, mitte) wiegen jeweils 150 Kilogramm, der Breithammer (rechts) bringt es auf 300 Kilogramm. |
